Second grade students were invited to repeat a favorite activity from last year: stitching on burlap. They learned how to double thread a needle and tie knots, helping them to work independently. Some children added colorful borders after their stitching was complete.

  1. This looks nice. Do the boys love to stitch too?

    • Oh sorry I just noticed the cityscape by the 2nd Grade boy. Would older boys like to sew too?

    • Boys do love to stitch AND weave! Fiber arts are intriguing for young children.
