Origami Part II

Swan Family

Origami continues to intrigue many students who now can work independently on Origami folding. Today a group of second graders decided to make the biggest swan family ever! During the afternoon TAP rotation, students followed Michael LaFosse’s directions on an interactive DVD called Storygami. They created a penguin, sailboat, and tulip.

Can you find the “W” in the penguin design?

Storygami artist Michael LaFosse will be visiting fifth graders at Franklin School in November as part of the Creative Arts & Sciences program. You can learn  more about Michael LaFosse at his website:  http://origamido.com/
